Individual Instruction

Individual instruction is also available from Bob upon request. If you have a problem with your horse Bob will teach you and your horse to overcome it. On the other hand if you want one-on-one, hands on instruction in learning to drive a single or multiple hitch, Bob will accommodate you in any way he can.

Bob also offers training for your horses. This training will be accomplished in a humane both horse and people friendly method. Bob has found that whether you want a show horse, a drive down the road on Sunday afternoon horse, or a partner for work, the training methods are all the same. What Bob tries to achieve is a nice, calm, non-resisting horse whether it be a 2400 pound work horse or a l100 pound rider/driver. Bob will take your horses as far in training as you want.

The rate for training is $400.00 per month including board. You will be encouraged to come and drive or ride the animals yourself so both you and the animals will be comfortable when you take them home.

This is Don Edwards and Paul Knudson.  They came with their team of Percheron mares to get a little more comfortable with them.  We did everything from discing, plowing to driving single.
